Rick was discharged from the hospital today and is happy to be home!

His pain is manageable with medication. He is very tired and weak but is getting better everyday.

For my 50th birthday the kids planned a trip to the Kentucky derby for all of us. This has always been on my bucket list. When Rick was first diagnosed we thought we wouldn't be able to go. With the Drs approval we are now hoping to  still make the trip to Kentucky next weekend.  As long as Rick continues to improve each day as he has been, we will be enjoying all being away together and  rooting on the ponies!

We will be seeing the oncologist in the next couple of weeks as our next stage of the journey.

Thank you to everyone for all your love and support. The cards, flowers, food, help with the dog (Audrey) and yard ( Hubert) installing of the central vac (Luis) parking (Lisa) and above all, your prayers. We all thank you.
