Hi everyone, it's Holly here. I wanted to share with you all some highlights from Matty's graduation today. It was such a beautiful ceremony at Alumni Hall, where the class of 2016 was celebrated and officially welcomed into the profession of medicine. An entire army of people showed up today to support and congratulate Matt- we had our own section of seats reserved in the hall for the "Steffler party". We were all beaming will pride and we lit up when we saw our Doctor enter the ceremony.Matt was acknowledged for his commitment to Rural Family Medicine, and was awarded the Gerry & Vi Livingston Award in medicine. It was an incredible moment to watch Matthew cross the stage, and officially earn the title of Doctor- no one deserves it more. We are so thankful to everyone who traveled today to celebrate Matt- it was a beautiful day for our family.
Beautiful photos. What a treasure. Well, that explains Matt's clear, concise explanation of Rick's diagnosis! I didn't know. You should be so proud. About 5 years ago, that was my SISTER, (Becky's Aunt) walking across that stage, and we could not have been prouder either. She is in N.W. London - family doc with an interest and specialization in geriatrics. Hopefully Matt will be able to settle somewhere nearby! Another "Bucket List" day. Well done, Matthew. Blessings!

Kathleen, there, I learned about CarePath...part of OTIP services to help people navigate thru' all the Cancer treatments. It sounded like a wonderful service for members and family going thru' Cancer treatments. Matt might know more about it. Very worthwhile looking into. We also got a great comparison guide for retirees need to be signed up (within 2 months of retiring) or penalties with either OTIP or RTO (Johnson Benefits). There's an excellent comparison page of benefits (between RTIP's 3 packages and RTO -Johnson's 1 package) in the RTIP 2016 guide which you can order 1800-267-6847. I have it if you want to see it quickly. You all look so beautiful!
